This is a question we have heard over and over again. Someone looks down our bench and sees the beer bellies, the grey hair poking out from our helmets, and our lack of speed on the ice. How does a team with an average age of 39 and an average weight of who knows how much continue to win championships? The answer is three simple letters - HGH. How else could this many 40-something's continue to perform? Unlike Roger Clemens though, we freely admit doing whatever it takes to compete. We freely admit weekly trips to Al's pharmacy for a variety of different performance enhancing drugs. Good luck to the rest of you when you get to our age!

Personally, I wouldn't be talking a whole mess of garbage if my team were given a playoff game in overtime on a questionable goal called by the referee, but then again, I'm not 40.
Good luck this year on the league and your up coming mid-life crisis, I'll look for the Dusters gear in the bargain bin. |

| Nice reply - about time someboy stepped up and gave me some $%!#. I'll see you when I pull up to the rink in my Corvette (mid-life crisis-mobile). And that goal was over the line - just ask the goalie, he pulled it out. Have a good season - anyone need to inject the red vile? Those are half-off, right Al? |

I guess every team can be incredibly lucky... or incredibly unlucky. It depends on how you look at it. But careful patting yourself on the back there... I hear old people have brittle joints. |
